Wheat muffins

Preparation time:30 mins
Baking time:15 mins. 
Makes 15 to 20 cupcakes



Ingredients:
1 cups of whole wheat flour
2 eggs
1/3 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
A pinch of salt
1 teaspoon baking powder 
2 pinch of baking soda
chocolate chips for topping(optional)
1 spoons vanilla essence 


Preparation:
In a mixing bowl take wheat flour,powdered sugar,brown sugar,baking powder, baking soda and salt, mix together and sieve twice.


In another mixing bowl add the following wet ingrediants-milk, eggs and oil and beat it in medium speed for 2 to 3 mins.


Now add vanilla essence to the wet ingredients bowl  and mix thoroughly.

Then, add the dry ingredients in small portions at a time into the wet ingredients bowl while gently folding it in the same direction.

 Now the batter is ready!

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celcius

Place cupcake liners in your muffin trays and pour the batter..3/4 full and top it with chocolate chips.

Tap the muffin tray a few times to remove the air bubbles and even out the batter

Once the oven is ready, place the muffin tray into it and bake it for 15 mins.

When the timer is out, use a toothpick to check If its done by pricking it in the center. if the toothpick comes out clean, your muffins are ready to go. if the pick is still moist, then back for another 2 to 3 minutes

Remove the muffins and let them cool completely, then they are ready to be enjoyed.



Notes:
Instead of chocolate chips you can also top it with icing of your choice after it is completely cooled down!
