paal kolukattai

Preparation time:
30 mins
Serves 4

Ingredients:

Puttu flour 1 cup
Salt one pinch
Ghee 1/2 teaspoon
Water 2 cups
Milk 1/2 lt
Jaggery 200 gms 
Cardomon powder 1/2 teaspoon
Coconut milk thick 3 table spoonfulls


Preparation:
In a mixing bowl add the flour, salt and ghee mix it properly.

Bring water to rolling boil then add little by little to make it a soft dough.


Once its completely cooled down , greasing your fingers with oil or ghee roll it into small balls .


In a pan heat the jaggery with few spoons of water until it is completely dissolved.

In another vessel boil the milk with 1/4 cup water , then add the balls one by one into the milk and cook in medium heat with the lid on for 10 to 15 minutes .

Now open the lid and strain the jaggery liquid into it, add cardamom powder and let it cook for a few minutes.

Then switch off the stove and add coconut milk and mix thoroughly.

Paal kolukattai is ready to be served
