caramel popcorn

Preparation time:
15 minutes
Serves 4


Ingredients needed:
1.Popcorn kernels-100g
2.Caramel
3.Butter-100g

Ingredients for caramel:
1.Sugar-200 gms
2.Water-3Tbsp

Preparing the caramel:
1.Take a vessel, add the sugar and pour water in it and keep stirring on medium flame till the mixture becomes golden brown colour. your caramel is ready.
2.Immediately switch it off and use it otherwise it becomes brittle

*this needs to be done while the pop corns are popping

Preparing the caramel popcorn:
1.Take butter in a cooker and let it melt
2.Then add popcorn kernels to it, close the lid without the gasket and whistle and keep it in low flame
3.Let the kernels pop
4.Once the popping stops,open cooker and transfer popcorn to a mixing bowl and add the caramel and mix thoroughly
5.Let it cool completely
6. Your caramel popcorn is ready to be enjoyed

Note:
This recipe ( my second try)turned out better than my first method which I posted on FB in which I added the caramel into the butter in which caramel in the bottom were little bit burnt and bitter .. top ones were good but bottom ones .. little bit was wasted

The above recipe I can vouch it comes out great.
